CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL VIDEO

Deadline: Wednesday 24th of October 2019 – 17:00 hours

SIHA Network is implementing the “Challenging Patterns and Drivers of Sexual Violence Against Women and Girls in Wau State, South Sudan” project. The project aims to promote positive shifts in attitudes, behaviours, and practices around sexual violence against women and girls in South Sudan, resulting in an end to normalization of Sexual Violence Against Women and Girls (SVAW/G), increased condemnation of SVAW/G, protection of women and girls’ human rights and a safe South Sudan for everyone.

The specific project objectives include;

  1. To empower school communities in Wau where the project is to ably prevent and respond to SVAWG
  2. To empower grassroots women leaders and activists to advocate for and engage the community to end violence against women and girls
  3. To train men and boys in SGBV root causes and prevention efforts and change attitudes and behaviours towards sexual violence, join the movement to end SVAW/G
  4. To promote a violence-free environment for all South Sudanese
