The progress of the trial whereby an Ethiopian woman and a number of Sudanese men have been prosecuted for a range of crimes, inclusive of adultery, indecent acts and the distribution of indecent material has been dynamic with multiple changes and amendments, especially in relation to the charges being levelled against those in court, taking place during the course court hearing.
SIHA has endeavoured to provide clear factual information to those who have been in touch with us, making updates as the case has evolved. Unfortunately there have been a number of media outlets who have not been in touch and have amalgamated information drawn from past press releases and up to date statements to other news sources which has resulted in the construction of a story that is not wholly representative of the case and the complex challenges within it.
SIHA would like to encourage the reporting of the case, and values the efforts of journalists to liaise with us closely on what is a complicated case, such that the nuances of the case are factually represented.
SIHA has withdrawn from its website previous statements in relation to the case, as although wholly true at the time of release, due to the evolving nature of the case, are no longer relevant.

حيثيات القضية التي تمت فيها محاكمة امرأة إثيوبية وعدد من الرجال السودانيين بالزنا , الافعال الفاضحة و نشر مواد فاضحة , شهدت الكثير من التعديلات و التغيرات في المواد و التهم التي وجهت للمتهمين في المحكمة خلال الجلسات العديدة .
شبكة صيحة سعت الى توفير معلومات واقعية و واضحة جداً لكل الجهات التي اتصلت بها و قدمت لهم جميع المستجدات.
للاسف , العديد من وسائل الاعلام التي لم تتمكن الاتصال بنا قاموا بدمج معلومات مستخلصة من البيانات الصحفية الماضية و الحديثة لشبكة صيحة و هذا ادى الى كتابة مقالات لا تمثل القضية بصورة كاملة او تشرح التحديات المعقدة بوضوح.
شبكة صيحة تشجع على الكتابة في القضية , و تثمن و تقدر جهود الصحفيين الذين اهتموا بالقضية المعقدة , لكي يتم عكس حيثيات القضية بصورة مكتملة.
وقد سحبت شبكة صيحة البيانات القديمة من موقعها , مع انها كانت دقيقة في وقت الاصدار و لكن لسبب التطور الطبيعي للقضية , لم تعد تمد اي صلة بالقضية.
